“My research interests focus on authoritarianism and democratisation, social movements and revolutions, ethnic conflict and conflict regulation, and constitutional design in new democracies and divided societies, with the particular focus on post-communist states. I joined the MeCoDEM project as it provides a great opportunity to study democratisation from a new angle and with a team of top scholars from different disciplines. I will co-ordinate research in Work package 3 ‘Media representations of democratisation conflicts’, which involves content analysis in the four countries.”
