“I have a strong research interest in how journalists intermediate and intervene in conflicts. MeCoDEM is an amazing project which looks at this relation in a unique way, combining it with a much wider outlook. It is very exciting to see a complexe endeavour like MeCoDEM take shape within a relatively short period of time, on the intersection of media, democratic societies and conflicts. I am a research assistant in WP3 where I co-coordinate the quantitative data set of the MeCoDEM content analysis.”
